Production of parts and prototypes by additive manufacturing
The Unit of 3D printing and manufacturing has equipment to develop prototypes and physical parts and virtual models for application to a wide variety of fields. They include: design applications, manufacturing applications, applications in art, medical applications, applications in bioengineering, topographical, architectural and GIS applications. In each of these sectors, advisory tasks are provided for modeling, fabrication, inspection, reverse engineering. In addition to this technical activity, the Unit of 3D printing and manufacturing develop training and research.
